First: Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Sector Development Project:

Project Targets:

- Increasing medicinal and aromatic plants and aromatic oils exports in Benisuef governorate, considering that there is no export limits for these products to Europe and USA.

- Spreading the use of new techniques in farming and producing medicinal and aromatic plants. Because of the trends and laws issued from the European market require specific conditions about the pesticides and chemicals contents of these products, it is necessary to put an urgent plan aims for improving production and exports to match up with these trends and also to enable us to convert the relative advantages of these products to international competitive advantages and this can be achieved by high quality qualified production and internationally competitive prices.

- Improving social and economical status and supporting the poor classes in Benisuef governorate.

- Providing an integrated package of technical support and training beside the loan system for very small, small and medium industries.

 

Unit Targets:

  1. Developing a group of powerful and helpful services and providing them to different sectors of small and medium projects with a focus on medicinal and aromatic plants and oils which are considered a basic feature of the governorate.
  2. Recognizing marketing local and international chances and producing them to our clients and helping them to catch these chances.
  3. Providing technical information related to quality control, packing, machines and new products starting from farming to production.
  4. Providing high quality technical and technological assistance during different steps of the production.

Project activities:

  • Providing technical consultations for medicinal and aromatic plants producers from farming to marketing through a professional team of our consultants.
  • Providing organic production needs from the international and the local market at the lowest prices with the highest qualities (Improved Seeds, Vital Fertilizers, Vital Pesticides,... etc).
  • Providing help in farming and producing medicinal and aromatic plants in new lands and also producing new plants.
  • Developing production lines which are working in drying, preparing, filtering, packing and storing herbs and medicinal and aromatic plants and aromatic oils on the international and the local level.
  • Providing marketing consultations through our consultants.
  • Registering companies as units working in organic production exchange, manufacturing and marketing.
  • Qualifying companies for acquiring international quality certificates.
